ROWEN & WREN
STORY SO FAR
Founded in 2011 by husband-and-wife team Lucy and Graeme Uren, who started the business around their kitchen table after years working in retail and design. Built on a slow-design philosophy of building modern classics rather than chasing trends, the first collection was just forty products. Today around 80% of the catalogue is their own design — lighting, hardware, English upholstery and home accessories — produced in workshops chosen for the skill best suited to each piece. The company actively shifts more production toward British makers (willow weavers, terracotta potters, ceramicists, carpenters and upholsterers) under its 'Made in Britain' banner.
