LITTLE BEAU SHEEP
STORY SO FAR
Founded in 2015 by Sarah Turner in Yorkshire, prompted by a simple question: if Britain produces so much wool, why isn’t more of it being used? The business began with a flock of sheep-shaped wool dryer balls and has since grown into a wider range of laundry care, body care, felted soaps and gift sets, all built around British Wool-certified fleece. Turner works directly with British farms and mills to turn raw fleece into finished products, and the brand (Little Beau Sheep Ltd, company number 11907141) has won the Wool Innovation Prize and Theo Paphitis’s Small Business Sunday (2019), a Great British Entrepreneur Award (2024), and recognition as a Supply Chain Champion (2026). Turner also serves as Court Assistant to the Worshipful Company of Woolmen.
